INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE
MAGNETIC FLUIDS IN MEDICINE AND BIOLOGY
ORGANIZERS:
Academy of medico biological sciences of
ATT Ltd (advanced technologies transfer)
/Scientific Laboratory "magnetic fluids in medicine and
biology"/
GENERAL INFORMATION:
Scientists of various specialty
from different countries who are working on subjects, related to conference,
theme are invited to participate at the conference.
The conference working languages (synchronic translation will be organized):
1. Georgian
2. English
3. Russian
Precent information about experimental and
clinical investigations of medico-biological characteristics of magnetic fluids
and their application in medicine and biology should be discussed at the
conference.
Cultural program, interesting meetings and
excursionswill be organized for the participants of
conference, besides interesting scientific discussions. You will be acquainted
with the history of our country and enjoy the beauty of some the charming parts
of
Scientific sections:
1. Medico-biological characteristics of
magnetic fluids
2. Physical and chemical characteristics
of magnetic fluids, applicable in biology and medicine
3. New methods of drugs target delivery to
the pathologic areas.
Manuscripts preparation:
Manuscript should be less than 1000 words,
typed in double-line spacing (1 cm between lines), and with 3-cm margins on
both sides of the page, which should not be numbered. Spelling should be
complying with the Webster’s encyclopedic dictionary of the English language.
All abbreviations must be defined at first mention. No abbreviations should
appear in the title, running head or summary. The same data should not be

should be used or a conversion formula supplied. The statistical methods used
must be identified. Any computer software packages used for anything other than
widely known standard statistical procedures should be identified by name or
acronym and by author or origin. Levels of significance should be expressed as
more or less than or equal to a given probability (e.g. P>0.01). The terms
«significant» and «not significant» must not be used in a statistical sense without
providing the level of significance in terms of P. The manuscript should be
organized as follows:
1. Title page: This is the first page and,
as such, should include the title of the paper (with no
abbreviations); the full names of the author(s), including
their given names, and the name of the
institute(s). If it is a joint publication from several
institutes, the affiliation of all authors should be
clearly indicated. The name and full postal address of the
author to whom the correspondence and
proofs are to be sent must be given. Inclusion of a telefax,
telephone number and e-mail address
is desirable to speed up communication.
2. Introduction
3. Materials and methods
4. Results
5. Discussion: The Discussion should be
given without repeating what is presented in the Introduction
or Results.
6. References: References, typed in
double-line spacing, must be limited to publications cited in the
text and in the tables and figure legends. The list should
not be alphabetical but in order of first
appearance in the text. References are cited in the text as

7. Tables and figures: Tables should be
typed on separate sheets with a number and title. All figures
should be numbered and accompanied by legends
typed on a separate page. The figures and tables
must be strictly limited in each paper. The
format should not exceed 17.8 cm; only in exceptional
cases will figures up to 24 cm wide be
accepted, in which case they will be placed horizontally
instead of vertically. Numbers and words on
illustrations should be typed in size - Didot 12 pt.
The photographs must be technically perfect and necessary for
understanding the text. Legends must
be informative and comprehensible without reference to the
text. Keys to symbols and the statistical
analysis should be included in the legend, not in the
figure. Color illustrations will be accepted;
however, the authors will be expected to make a contribution towards the extra
costs (approx. US$
600 for the first and US$ 300 for each additional page).
8. Proofs: One set of the proofs is sent
to the corresponding author. Only typographical errors should

charged to the author(s).
