GENERAL INFORMATION:

Scientists of various specialty from different countries who are working on subjects, related to conference, theme are invited to participate at the conference.

The conference working languages (synchronic translation will be organized):

1. Georgian

2. English

3. Russian

Precent information about experimental and clinical investigations of medico-biological characteristics of magnetic fluids and their application in medicine and biology should be discussed at the conference.

Cultural program, interesting meetings and excursionswill be organized for the participants of conference, besides interesting scientific discussions. You will be acquainted with the history of our country and enjoy the beauty of some the charming parts of Georgia.

Scientific sections:

1. Medico-biological characteristics of magnetic fluids

2. Physical and chemical characteristics of magnetic fluids, applicable in biology and medicine

3. New methods of drugs target delivery to the pathologic areas.

Manuscripts preparation:

Manuscript should be less than 1000 words, typed in double-line spacing (1 cm between lines), and with 3-cm margins on both sides of the page, which should not be numbered. Spelling should be complying with the Webster’s encyclopedic dictionary of the English language. All abbreviations must be defined at first mention. No abbreviations should appear in the title, running head or summary. The same data should not be presented in both figures and tables. The international system of units (SI) should be used or a conversion formula supplied. The statistical methods used must be identified. Any computer software packages used for anything other than widely known standard statistical procedures should be identified by name or acronym and by author or origin. Levels of significance should be expressed as more or less than or equal to a given probability (e.g. P>0.01). The terms «significant» and «not significant» must not be used in a statistical sense without providing the level of significance in terms of P. The manuscript should be organized as follows:

1. Title page: This is the first page and, as such, should include the title of the paper (with no

    abbreviations); the full names of the author(s), including their given names, and the name of the

    institute(s). If it is a joint publication from several institutes, the affiliation of all authors should be

    clearly indicated. The name and full postal address of the author to whom the correspondence and

    proofs are to be sent must be given. Inclusion of a telefax, telephone number and e-mail address

    is desirable to speed up communication.

5. Discussion: The Discussion should be given without repeating what is presented in the Introduction

    or Results.

6. References: References, typed in double-line spacing, must be limited to publications cited in the

    text and in the tables and figure legends. The list should not be alphabetical but in order of first

    appearance in the text. References are cited in the text as numerals in square brackets on the line.

7. Tables and figures: Tables should be typed on separate sheets with a number and title. All figures

     should be numbered and accompanied by legends typed on a separate page. The figures and tables

     must be strictly limited in each paper. The format should not exceed 17.8 cm; only in exceptional

     cases will figures up to 24 cm wide be accepted, in which case they will be placed horizontally

     instead of vertically. Numbers and words on illustrations should be typed in size - Didot 12 pt.

    The photographs must be technically perfect and necessary for understanding the text. Legends must

    be informative and comprehensible without reference to the text. Keys to symbols and the statistical

    analysis should be included in the legend, not in the figure. Color illustrations will be accepted;

    however, the authors will be expected to make a contribution towards the extra costs (approx. US$

    600 for the first and US$ 300 for each additional page).

8. Proofs: One set of the proofs is sent to the corresponding author. Only typographical errors should

    be corrected. Any changes to the text or figures can be charged to the author(s).

 

Attention: Manuscripts should be received by org-committee only in electronic form by E-mail before of 10. 04. 05, together with a copy of the document evidenced sending of money for the publication of manuscript (50 US$ for one manuscripts publication) to Org-Committee bank account. The manuscripts received later or presented is not described above form cannot be published and payment for the publication will be not returned to Authors.
